uFly simulator was at the Girls Can Fly annual event organized by the Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre (WWFC). The event is designed to inspire young women and girls about the exciting opportunities in the aviation industry.

The event was held at the Region of Waterloo International Airport and offered a range of activities for attendees of all ages. These include viewing aircraft of all sizes, trying out our simulator, and engaging with industry partners.

One of the highlights of the event is the opportunity for girls aged 8 to 18 years to experience complimentary flights1 This is a fantastic opportunity for potential future female pilots to get a taste of flying. In the past, the event has welcomed over 2,000 attendees and provided free flights to more than 300 girls.

The event is open to everyone, regardless of the weather, and offers a range of other activities for those who don’t have a flight.

“Girls Can Fly” is a wonderful initiative that aims to break down barriers and encourage more girls and young women to consider careers in the aviation industry. It’s a day of inspiration, education, and fun.
